Ghana to Partner Nigeria in Fighting Crime



The government of Ghana says it will collaborate with Nigeria and other neighboring countries to combat crime within the African Continent. This was as a result of the recent criminal and terrorist attacks within the borders of Ghana and Nigeria.

 The Minister in charge of National Security, Mr. Bryan Acheampong said in a forum dubbed “Exchange of Good Practices on Legislation of Security Related Committees in the National Assembly of Nigeria and Parliament of Ghana at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Centre that there was a need for government to establish cordial relationship with neighboring countries to fight security threats in the African sub-region.

He also added that criminal activities have evolved over time hence the need for policy makers to be more skillful and competent in their area of duty.
