Ghana Commits to Free Trade- President Akuffo Addo

President Akuffo Addo in a meeting with the Assembly of Heads of  State and government of the African Union on the 21st of March has expressed Ghana's unfailing commitment towards the success of the Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) after its formal lunch in Rwanda and Kigali.

He mentioned that Ghana was willing to host the CFTA Secretariat in Accra and added that it was time Africans came together to strengthen the bond of integration to make the African Union(AU) politically and economically successful.

The AU was formed about fifty five years ago to liberate the African Continent from Colonial rule. The AU now champions the collective interest of African continent in the global community.
