Wa-Naa pleads on Kwesi Nyantakyi's behalf

The Overlord of Waala Traditional Area,Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV, has pleaded to President Akufo-Addo and all Ghanaians to forgive his son Kwesi Nyantakyi,the former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, over his alleged acts of corruption.

President Nana Akufo-Addo on Tuesday ordered for the arrest of President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi, for defrauding by false pretences.

Kwesi Nyantekyi was recently caught in a video footage captured by investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas using the name of the President Akuffo Addo, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and other state officials to peddle influence to secure an amount of $12million.

In the video the GFA boss was captured saying "Ghana is the easiest place to do business. All you have to do is to give the President of Ghana $5m and the Vice President $3m. I have the President in my pocket. I see him every day. As for the refs, all you need is to give them GHC20 and girls and they are sorted".
