Deputy Finance Minister Expresses Shock over NAGRAT’s Indefinite Strike

The Deputy Finance Minister Mrs Abena Osei Asare has complained bitterly about the action taken by National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) to embark on an indefinite strike following the inability of government to pay their salary arrears of Gh50 million.

Describing them as an unfaithful group of people, Mrs Asare stated that government had taken a step to pay the arrears of 2010 just yesterday 5th March 2018. She also added that she found it shocking that NAGRAT could declare a nationwide strike action even though some payments have been made.
