Akufo Addo Suspends 4 High Court Judges

President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on the advice of the judicial Council has suspended four High Court Judges with immediate effect.

These four judges were part of the 12 High Court judges who were captured by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in an audio and video recording taking bribes from plaintiffs to pervert justice.The suspended judges are in the persons of Mr. Justice Uter Paul Dery, Mr. Justice Mustafa Logoh, Mr. Justice Gilbert Ayisi Addo and Mr. Justice Charles Quist.

Meanwhile, the President on the advice of the Judicial Council suspended with immediate effect these four High Court judges on Tuesday 8th May 2018 in accordance to Article 146(10) (b) of the Constitution.
