Improper Selection Process For NaBCo Could Lead to Misapplication of Resources – Serlom Branttie

Vice President of IMANI Africa Serlom Branttie says the lack of a selection criteria for the National Builders Corps (NaBCo) will only lead to misapplication of resources.

Viewing the situation as critical, he added that government would not know if applicants are suited for the jobs they would be deployed into and also complained about whether a quality testing system would be used to test these graduates before being put into various positions.

Comparing NaBCo to the Youth Employment Agency, Branttie said it was more likely for recruits to be employed out of the blue as have happened in the past.
