Oil Monies to boost Industralisation and Free SHS: Prez. Akuffo Addo

President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo says his government is going to use money generated from oil to create more assets for the country.

 According to the President his administration was not going to treat oil money like gold. He added that oil will no longer be exported in its raw state as crude. The President viewed oil money as one that could be used to transform the structure of the Ghanaian economy and improve industrialization.

Aside industrialization the President also added that  revenue generated from oil will be used to fund Free Senior High School program rather than getting into the pockets of individual politicians. President Akuffo Addo made this known when delivering his address at the 2018 Oxford Africa Conference at the University of Oxford,London.
