Unemployed Nurses Protest Against NaBCo

A huge crowd of Professionals forming the Ghana Nurses and Midwifery Trainees Association of Ghana yesterday embarked on a massive demonstration to kick against governments NaBCo program.

Dressed in their uniforms with red bands around their arms, these nurses journeyed through Kwame Nkrumah Interchange through to Accra Hearts of Oak Park to display their displeasure with governments new NaBCo policy declaring their intention to vote the incumbent government out of power in 2020 if their needs are not addressed.

Aside describing NaBCo as a scam, the group also felt the policy was hand to mouth and therefore deserved better conditions. Meanwhile the group in a petition addressed to the Vice President of Ghana,Dc. Mahamudu Bawumia gave a two weeks ultimatum for government to review the policy.
